Needs some attention
Clean and tidy throughout the stay - quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out.
A bottle of water in the room costs what a bottle of wine costs on the corner.

Strong all round
We are fussy about where we sleep - somebody has thought about the tiling, and it shows in a way photographs do not capture.
No full-length mirror anywhere in the Family Suite.

Mixed, mostly good
Booked late and got lucky - the owners are kind and the breakfast is homemade, which counts for a lot. Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing.
It is uphill from the metro, which you feel with my rucksack in the heat. Thin walls, so I knew a fair amount about my neighbours and their travel plans.

The owners are kind and the breakfast is homemade, which counts for a lot.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed. The connection slowed to nothing each evening from about eleven, when the place fills up.

Fine, but not at that price
Not a disaster, just not what I expected. The view over the rooftops from the balcony is a proper one. Check-in was straightforward and the desk answered questions properly. They keep a jar of sweets by the lift that nobody admits to eating from.
The staircase is narrow and steep, so allow a minute or two more than you think.
