Two nights was enough
Mixed feelings about this one; the Signature Room suited us well for a short stay. Quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out.
The curtains do not quite meet in the middle, so you are up with the light. Nobody was on the desk for about forty minutes when we arrived on the Monday.

Rare to get it all right
We upgraded to the Suite and would do it again without thinking. There is a bakery two doors down that opens at six, which we discovered by accident on the first morning. It feels like a house rather than a hotel, and the owners are around without hovering.

Florentin done properly
Free bikes turned a good stay into a great one - I rode along the canal both days. Room service arrived in fifteen minutes at half past ten, which is why I book here. Blackout curtains that meet in the middle, a mattress with some life in it, and silence after eleven.

Quiet and central, kind staff
The bed was the surprise: firm, wide and made up with linen that actually felt like linen. The restaurant does a short menu properly rather than a long one badly. The kind of place you book for two nights and immediately regret not booking for four.

Charming small hotel, and the lighting lifts it above the usual.
Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom except the edge of the basin.
