Handy, if a little dated
Pleasant bar for a nightcap, and they do not rush you out of it. Quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out. The Signature Room suited us well for a short stay.
It is uphill from the metro, which you feel with the suitcases in the heat. The heating is on a timer and goes off at about half past nine, which in November you feel by morning.

Somewhere to come back to
I left a charger behind and it arrived at home nine days later, no charge for the postage. Worth every penny, and we do not say that often.

Good sleep, good breakfast
I uploaded a large file from the room in minutes and nobody at the other end noticed I was away. The restaurant does a short menu properly rather than a long one badly.
No screens on the windows, so it is a choice between the heat and the mosquitoes.

Dirty and badly run
One of the cleaners was lovely and clearly working with nothing. They did refund the second night without arguing, so credit for that.
I was given a different room from the one I booked, smaller and facing the bins, with no adjustment to the price. I was charged a cleaning fee that was not in the booking and had to argue to get it back. The bathroom door did not shut and the toilet ran all night.

Great few days in Roppongi
Firm mattress, which suits me, and a duvet that is not the usual thin thing. The restaurant does a short menu properly rather than a long one badly. Fast, stable wifi in the room rather than only in the lobby, which is rarer than it should be.
Only that we had to leave.

Tired and overpriced
Charming small hotel, and the fabrics lifts it above the usual.
The sofa bed in the Cosy Room is not somewhere you would want a second week. A second bedside lamp and a couple more sockets would finish the room off.
