Location good, room less so
Lovely for a couple of nights away, quiet and personal. The concierge was helpful with tickets and directions. They keep a pillow menu at reception and actually bring what you ask for.
Shower pressure drops off when the floor is busy at about half past seven. Blackout blinds would make a difference in December, when it is bright by six.

Everything we hoped for
Astonishingly quiet for somewhere this central - I never heard the street once. Spotless, including the places nobody checks - skirting boards, the kettle, under the bed. Room service arrived in fifteen minutes at half past ten, which is why I book here.
Nothing worth mentioning, and that is rare.

Does what it says
The window in the bathroom looks straight onto a wall covered in jasmine. Lovely for a couple of nights away, quiet and personal.
Checkout at ten is early when you have an evening flight.

Perfectly decent
The view over the rooftops from the balcony is a proper one. The lift has one of those inner doors you have to pull shut, which the children opposite treated as the highlight of their week.
Waiting fifteen seconds for the lift each time adds up when you go back for a jumper.

One of the cleaners was lovely and clearly working with nothing.
I would have moved out on the first night if anything else had been free. The fridge in the Cosy Room had somebody else's food in it. The Cosy Room had not been cleaned properly: hair in the shower tray and dust along every skirting board. I asked twice about the noise and nothing came of it.

Really rather good
Would come back tomorrow. It feels like a house rather than a hotel, and the owners are around without hovering. Ayşe on reception had us checked in inside three minutes and drew a map of the area on the spot.
The shower takes a good minute to warm up, which adds up over two days.
