Double glazing that works, so the tram going past is a rumour rather than an event.

Easy stay, no dramas
I left a charger behind and it arrived at home nine days later, no charge for the postage. Sat on the terrace with a glass of wine watching the light go off the rooftops. That is the memory.
Checkout is ten and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast.

Practical rather than charming
The view over the rooftops from the balcony is a proper one. There is a coffee machine in the room, which saved us a few euros a day. Breakfast is solid rather than lavish - eggs done to order and reliable coffee. You get more for the money here than at the two places we priced up in Vesturbær.
Thin walls, so we knew a fair amount about our neighbours and their travel plans.

It is quiet during the day, if that is any use to anyone.
The fridge in the Double Room with Garden View had somebody else's food in it. Nobody was on the desk for long stretches, so we stood in the lobby with our bags for twenty minutes at check-in. The bed linen was stained. We asked for it to be changed and waited until nearly half past ten that night. The desk was stretched thin and it showed - five requests went unanswered.

Could not have gone better
There is a shortcut through the square that saves about five minutes and somebody drew it on my map. Spotless, including the places nobody checks - skirting boards, the kettle, under the bed.

Lovely for a couple of nights away, quiet and personal - clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing.
Checkout at half past nine is early when you have an evening flight.
