Charming and spotless
Came for two nights, stayed four. Travelling on my own, I never felt uneasy walking back into Tay Ho late at night.
Checkout at half past ten is early when you have an evening flight.

Better on price than polish
My flight landed at one in the morning and the man on the desk still made me a tea. The dorm was fine and the showers were hot in the morning, which is the real test.
The bathroom fan runs for twenty minutes after you leave and is loud. The shower takes a good minute to warm up, which adds up over two days.

Does the job
The dorm was fine and the showers were hot in the morning, which is the real test. Fair value for Hanoi prices, particularly in high season.
Pillows are enormous and there is no alternative on offer.

Faultless from start to finish
Someone has planted herbs in pots by the door and you are clearly meant to use them. The Bed in 6-bed female dorm is bigger than the photographs suggest and cleverly laid out.
No complaints from us this time.

Fine if you're out all day
The dorm was fine and the showers were hot in the morning, which is the real test.
The window seals are not what they could be and Tay Ho is not a silent neighbourhood.

Not what the photos promised
Wanted to like it more than I did. The Bed in 6-bed female dorm suited me well for a short stay.
The extractor does not cope, so the mirror is useless after the first shower. The room I was given was not the one I booked and it took three conversations to be moved.
