Not quite worth it
Djurgården is pleasant to wander in the evening, and nothing felt far. The front door code worked every time, which sounds like a low bar until you have stayed somewhere it did not. Connection was good enough to work from for a morning.
No lift, and it is five flights with a hard turn at the top. Worth knowing before you book. The bar downstairs runs until two and you hear it in the front dorms.

Pleasant but noisy at night
Good base for a few nights: clean dorm, big lockers, decent kitchen. Firm mattress, which is exactly how we like it. Someone has planted herbs in pots by the door and you are clearly meant to use them.
No lift, and it is two flights with a hard turn at the top. Worth knowing before you book. A bottle of water in the room costs what a bottle of wine costs on the corner.

Nice place, tired lift
Turned up late, tired and grumpy, and were looked after. Lockers are big enough for a sixty-litre pack, which almost nowhere manages. Elke on reception had us checked in inside three minutes and drew a map of the area on the spot. The staff pointed us to a wine bar round the corner and it became our regular.
Nobody was on the desk for about ten minutes when we arrived on the Tuesday. Checkout at ten is early when you have an evening flight.

Left a night early
Booked on the photographs, which was my mistake. The room was at least clean when I arrived. The Bed in 6-bed female dorm is at least well laid out for the size.
The heating did not work properly for the first four nights and the fix took until the third day. Roadworks on the corner from half past seven on the Sunday, and nobody had warned me.

Could not have gone better
Bunks have curtains, a plug and a light each, which is all anyone actually wants.
Loading and unloading outside is awkward on a street that narrow.

Perfectly decent
There is a shortcut through the square that saves about five minutes and somebody drew it on my map; the Private Double Room is well organised and everything has somewhere to go.
The shower takes a good minute to warm up, which adds up over two days.
