Fair value for Marrakesh
Short version: yes. Good for a few nights alone - I was left to get on with it.
Waiting ten seconds for the lift each time adds up when you go back for a jumper.

Unhappy from check-in to check-out
Honestly, very little. I was out from early until late to avoid being in the Terrace Room.
I was given a different room from the one I booked, smaller and facing the bins, with no adjustment to the price. Building work started at quarter past seven every morning and nobody mentioned it when I booked. There was mould in the corner of the bathroom ceiling and the extractor did not work. The heating did not work properly for the first three nights and the fix took until the third day.

Half worked, half didn't
Mixed feelings about this one. They keep a jar of sweets by the lift that nobody admits to eating from. Lovely for a couple of nights away, quiet and personal.
Checkout at half past nine is early when you have an evening flight.

Friendly and well run
Booked this on a whim and glad we did. Spotless, including the places nobody checks - skirting boards, the kettle, under the bed. Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three. For Marrakesh, this is a properly central spot without the coach parties.
Blackout blinds would make a difference in December, when it is bright by six.

Nice place, tired lift
A real desk with a real chair and a socket at elbow height - somebody has actually worked in a hotel room before. Cheaper than the chain hotels two streets over and considerably nicer.
Checkout at eleven is early when you have an evening flight.

Tired and overpriced
Fine, with caveats. A desk of a usable size, a proper chair and sockets where you need them. I slept well: the room is dark, cool and quiet after ten. Palmeraie is a sensible base, a few streets back from the crowds and still close to everything.
One radiator for the whole room, and in November that is not quite enough. The kitchen closes at half past ten, which I found out the hard way on the Tuesday.
