Quiet room, great coffee
Four of us across two rooms on the same corridor, which they arranged without being asked.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed.

Great base for Stockholm
Records in the room, a proper armchair and the espresso that would hold up in any city. Fast, stable wifi in the room rather than only in the lobby, which is rarer than it should be. A real desk with a real chair and a socket at elbow height - somebody has actually worked in a hotel room before.
One person on the desk at half past ten in the evening means a queue when the airport bus arrives.

Reliable rather than exciting
A cat lives in the courtyard and considers the chairs to be hers. Firm mattress, which is exactly how I like it.
The restaurant is fine but you would not choose it if you were not already staying there.

Ticked every box that mattered
Somebody had left a shelf of paperbacks by the window and I got through two of them. The terrace is small but nobody else seems to use it, so it became ours.
Checkout at nine is early when you have an evening flight.

Not what the photos promised
The room was cleaned properly every day and the bins were never left. Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside. There is a lift, which we were glad of on the way up with our bags.
Loading and unloading outside is awkward on a street that narrow. Everything on site is priced for people not counting, from the water to the laundry.

Hard to improve on
We booked for three nights and extended to five, which tells you what we thought of the price. We spent both evenings in the bar downstairs and never felt hurried out of it.
Mosquitoes in the evening once the doors are open - the shop on the corner sells the plug-ins.
