Adequate and well placed
Went in with low expectations after the last place. Comfortable bed, and they brought firmer pillows within ten minutes of asking. Bag storage on the last day was useful. Lovely for a couple of nights away, quiet and personal.
Roadworks on the corner from half past seven on the Friday, and nobody had warned us.

They let us sit in the courtyard with our own wine on the last night.
The sofa bed in the Signature Room is not somewhere you would want a second week. The radiator clanked from about quarter past seven every morning.

Petra at the desk was the standout - patient and genuinely useful. Charming small hotel, and the joinery lifts it above the usual.
Check-in is not until four and there is nowhere comfortable to wait. Thin walls, so we knew a fair amount about our neighbours and their travel plans.

Not quite worth it
Lovely for a couple of nights away, quiet and personal. Le Marais is a sensible base, a few streets back from the crowds and still close to everything.
Nobody told us the restaurant was closed for the week until we turned up hungry on the Friday.

The bathroom is cleverly laid out and the shower is hot and fast. Lovely for a couple of nights away, quiet and personal.
One person on the desk at half past nine in the evening means a queue when the airport bus arrives.

Would send friends here
A cat lives in the courtyard and considers the chairs to be hers. Somebody has thought about the lighting, and it shows in a way photographs do not capture.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed. It is a good five minutes from the nearest tram stop, further than the listing suggests.
