Needs some attention
The view over the rooftops from the balcony is a proper one. Nobody blinked at a table for one, which is not true everywhere.
Nobody was on the desk for about fifteen minutes when I arrived on the Monday.

Pleasant but noisy at night
I slept well: the room is dark, cool and quiet after ten. Easy place to stay on your own, and the area is fine to walk at night.
Street parking is free after nine and impossible before it. You cannot set the aircon below twenty-three, which in December is not quite enough.

Would recommend with one caveat
Spotless, including the places nobody checks - skirting boards, the kettle, under the bed. Ended up on the walking tour with four people from my dorm and we were still out at midnight.
Checkout at eleven is early when you have an evening flight.

Falls well short
Two nights, and two would have been plenty. The staff were friendly and the lockers were secure.
Not enough sockets for eight people, so charging is a nightly negotiation. There is construction across the street that starts at quarter past seven, so bring earplugs.

Four of us across two rooms on the same corridor, which they arranged without being asked.
Nothing worth mentioning, and that is rare.

Genuinely lovely stay
No faff with the room: dark, cool and quiet by ten. The terrace is small but nobody else seems to use it, so it became ours. The common room does that rare thing of being sociable without being loud at two in the morning.
