Two nights was enough
Wanted to like it more than we did. Clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about. Good base for a few nights: clean dorm, big lockers, decent kitchen.
The heating is on a timer and goes off at about half past nine, which in December you feel by morning. We asked twice about the noise and nothing came of it.

Strong on location and staff
Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three.
Loading and unloading outside is awkward on a street that narrow.

Good for a few nights alone - I was left to get on with it.
The connection slowed to nothing each evening from about nine, when the place fills up.

Needs some attention
Someone has planted herbs in pots by the door and you are clearly meant to use them. Bag storage on the last day was useful.
Checkout is eleven and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast.

The rate held steady when I added a night, which I appreciated.
I was moved rooms on the Tuesday at an hour's notice with no explanation.

Good location, average room
Sociable without being a party hostel, and the bunks are sturdy. I left a charger behind and it arrived at home nine days later, no charge for the postage. Wifi was quick enough for email, maps and an evening of streaming.
